You can download YouTube videos after installing that Firefox extension.
You click the Download button in the web page of YouTube video, and select the format you wanna download.
Note:
The maximum resolution available for download is 720p (1280x720), if the video doesn't provide 720p format, you can not download the video as 720p.
480p and 1080p are no longer available as standalone videos downloaded from youtube.com. YouTube switched to adaptive streams and uses separate files for video and audio, which need to be merged to get a video file. This is more complicated and requires more advanced tools (ffmpeg), so the author hasn't added them yet.
